Largest Wine Trade Fair in the Americas Opens in São Paulo with Special Program and New Releases

São Paulo Hosts 6th Edition of ProWine; Event Recognized as the Largest Professional Wine and Spirits Fair in the Americas.

From September 30 to October 2, Expo Center Norte in São Paulo will host the 6th edition of ProWine São Paulo, the largest professional wine and spirits fair in the Americas. Among the confirmed exhibitors is award-winning Portuguese winemaker Osvaldo Amado, who will present Casa dos Amados winery and its new labels to the Brazilian market.

Bringing together exhibitors from more than 36 countries, the event consolidates its position as the most strategic meeting point for the sector in the continent, attracting importers, distributors, sommeliers, and trade professionals seeking new labels and business partnerships. With expectations of growth in both visitors and deals, the fair reinforces the importance of the Brazilian market, which continues to expand and shows increasing interest in premium wines.

Among the confirmed exhibitors is internationally acclaimed winemaker Osvaldo Amado, who brings Casa dos Amados and its new releases to the national market. With more than 4,100 medals earned in international wine competitions, Amado also celebrates at this edition the recent recognition of “Best Dão Wine 2025”, awarded to his Raríssimo DOC Dão Red 2009 — a clear example of the level of excellence showcased at the fair.

Casa dos Amados is a winemaking project that spans four of Portugal’s most important wine regions: Bairrada, Dão, Beira Interior, and Vinho Verde. Each region contributes its unique combination of soils, climate, and grape varieties. Among the winery’s flagship labels is the recent release Terra, a DOC from the Dão region that highlights emblematic grapes such as Encruzado and Touriga Nacional.
